An Introduction to the Almost Daily Prompts

What exactly am I planning to do here?

It is a well-know fact that a writer in possession of some semblance of skill or will practices their writing daily. Or rather, as often as possible.

Why?

  • Regular writing keeps you sharp.
  • Changing it up stimulates ideas.
  • Bouncing around with prompts staves off writer’s block.

There are probably a bunch more reasons that we could all name, but these are the primary reasons that I like to write frequently and use prompts to do so. This section of the site is dedicated to those prompts and my responses, so that you can borrow them and also read more of my work, perhaps in a more unfiltered way.

Enjoy! If you have any prompts you’d like me to use, please email them to kateelise@kedwrites.com.
