“Says you, I just signed a lease yesterday. If you’ve got a problem with that, you’ll have to take it up with the landlord. Maybe he’ll let you break your lease if you want to insist on being childish.”
“Piss off, Micah, you knew that I lived here. We dated for seven years and you helped me move in.”
“What are you insinuating, Paige? That I’m your ex-girlfriend turned stalker?”
“I’m just trying to figure out why you thought it would be a good idea to move into the same apartment complex with your new girlfriend when I still live here.”
“Why does it matter?”
“Well, for starters, your father did just get the charges for murdering MY father dropped.”
“Oh, that.”
“Yeah, Micah, that.”
